Neocontrol® pelvic floor therapy
Extracorporal magnetic field therapy
Our patients have the opportunity to strengthen their pelvic floor muscles and improve bladder control functions. This is made possible by the Neocontrol® pelvic floor therapy in our practice – which has been tried-and-true for over 20 years.
Modern, effective and proven in our practice for over 20 years
The Neocontrol® pelvic floor therapy (extracorporeal magnetic field therapy) is a modern and effective procedure that was developed by American urologists and physicists. Among other things, the therapy can strengthen the pelvic floor muscles and improve bladder control functions. Neocontrol® has proven itself in our gynecology practice in Munich for over 20 years.
Indications for Neocontrol® (selection):
- urinary incontinence (prevention and therapy, woman and man)
- fecal incontinence (prevention and therapy, woman and man)
- pelvic floor weakness
- cellulite, hemorrhoids
- orgasm problems (prevention and therapy, woman and man)
- weak vaginal tone (e.g. after childbirth)
- potency and erection problems (man)
- chronic prostatitis (male), etc.
Effects on the Neocontrol® method in our practice in Munich
Neocontrol® is based on the generation of focused, pulsating magnetic fields that are used therapeutically. The patients sit fully clothed in a special chair and feel how the pelvic floor muscles are provoked to contract. This is accompanied by a slight vibration and gentle knocking.
A therapy session lasts 20 to 30 minutes. Immediately after the therapy, many patients state that they have a slight soreness and above all feel muscles and muscle groups that they previously had not or had hardly felt. An effective therapy cycle consists of twelve sessions of 25 minutes each, conducted twice a week for a period of six weeks.
Neocontrol® stimulates the nerves of the pelvic floor with magnetic fields in the physiological (natural) frequency range, which trains and strengthens the pelvic floor muscles. The method thus uses the so called principle of extracorporeal magnetic innervation (ExMI) and causes all the addressed muscles and muscle groups to contract with each magnetic impulse. The control of the pelvic floor gradually improves.
Pelvic floor analysis in the heart of Munich
The extracorporeal magnetic field therapy is well suited for the supportive therapy of mild and moderate stress incontinence – especially in postmenopausal women.
- every third to fourth woman over 40 and every second woman over 60 suffers from incontinence, i.e. urinary incontinence, faecal incontinence or both at the same time.
- it becomes increasingly difficult to control bladder and / or rectum anal functions in every situation.
- it should be prevented as soon as individually possible.
- side effects are not known.
We can diagnose and treat pelvic floor weakness and / or incontinence at an early stage.
- by measuring the pelvic floor structures with 4D ultrasound CT (multi slice imaging, radiation free) and, if necessary, so called urodynamic measurements
- by measuring the hormone, mineral, trace element and immune status
- by measuring bone density
- by developing a holistic concept to improve the pelvic floor
