For us, aesthetics means emphasising your natural radiance and fulfilling your personal wishes with contemporary treatment methods. We tailor every treatment to your skin, your stage of life and your needs. Our range includes treatments for skin rejuvenation and wrinkle treatment, permanent hair removal, the treatment of hair loss and the strengthening of hair, as well as individual anti-ageing concepts with hyaluronic acid, mesotherapy and fruit acid peels. The aim is a fresh, harmonious appearance and lasting wellbeing. In a detailed consultation, we work out with you the path that suits your aesthetic goals – and we will also tell you openly if a treatment does not make sense.
With procedures such as mesotherapy, hyaluronic acid treatments, fruit acid peels and skin rejuvenation concepts, we aim to support your skin's natural regeneration. The focus is on natural results that preserve your expression: skin renewal, an even complexion with more radiance, and a fresh, revitalised look, often called a “glow”. In addition, in the area of infusions, we offer anti-ageing infusions as well as infusions that accompany weight loss.

Our approach
Our approach to aesthetic medicine
We are a gynaecology practice – and that shapes the way we see beauty. Skin and hair often reflect what is happening in the body: hormones, thyroid, nutrient supply, stress and environmental influences. That is why every aesthetic treatment with us begins with a detailed conversation. Where hair loss or increased hair growth points to a medical cause, we investigate this first. Afterwards we plan together which treatment suits your wishes and your skin. We provide only services that make medical sense, and we focus on natural, understated results rather than quick changes.
An honest assessment
Aesthetic treatments can change your appearance only within limits, and results vary from person to person; mesotherapy and PRP are complementary procedures whose effectiveness has not been scientifically proven for every application – we will discuss openly what makes sense for you.

Skin, hair and hormones
Hormones influence skin and hair throughout life. Oestrogens help the skin retain moisture and form collagen – the structural protein of connective tissue. When their level falls during the menopause, the skin often becomes thinner and drier. Male hormones (androgens), on the other hand, can lead in women to increased hair growth on the face or to thinning scalp hair, for example in PCOS, polycystic ovary syndrome. A thyroid condition such as Hashimoto's or an iron deficiency can also show up first in the skin and hair. As a gynaecology practice, we can investigate such connections before providing aesthetic treatment – so that the treatment does not merely mask a symptom.
Aesthetic medicine in medical hands
Aesthetic treatments are medical procedures, even when they seem minor. Before every treatment, we inform you about the procedure, possible side effects and alternatives, and ask about existing conditions, allergies and medication. Some situations argue against treatment, such as acute skin inflammation, certain medications or pregnancy. In a doctor's practice we can assess such points and respond medically if the skin reacts unexpectedly. Aesthetic services are generally self-pay services billed under the German fee schedule for doctors (GOÄ). We will discuss what costs will arise before the treatment.
Natural results, honest expectations
Skin ageing is a natural process. Aesthetic medicine cannot stop it, but it can care for the skin's appearance and address individual concerns in a targeted way. How a treatment works and how long a result lasts differs from woman to woman – it depends on skin type, age, lifestyle and procedure. We therefore deliberately refrain from before-and-after pictures and promises of results. Our aim is an appearance that looks fresh and well cared for and suits you. Daily life contributes a great deal as well: sun protection, enough sleep, not smoking and a balanced diet.
Perfume-free practice and skincare
Our practice is nicotine-free and perfume-free. Fragrances can trigger allergies, shortness of breath, headaches and dizziness, and are suspected of placing a strain on the hormonal and immune systems. Prof. Schulte-Uebbing engages scientifically with so-called endocrine disruptors – substances that can act like hormones, such as plasticisers (phthalates) in fragrances, perfume and cosmetics. For your skincare, this means: especially after a peel or an injection treatment, irritated skin does well with mild, fragrance-free products. If you wish, we are also happy to talk with you about the ingredients in your daily skincare.
Good questions. Clear answers.
Frequently asked questions about aesthetic medicine
Can't find your question? Give us a call – we will take the time.
Does health insurance cover aesthetic treatments?
Purely aesthetic treatments are generally self-pay services – for patients with statutory health insurance (GKV) and private health insurance alike. We bill according to the German fee schedule for doctors (GOÄ) and will tell you before the treatment what costs will arise. It may be different if a medical cause is being investigated, for example in the case of hair loss: depending on your insurance status, we bill medically necessary examinations through your health insurance.
Who carries out the treatments?
Aesthetic treatments at our gynaecology practice take place under the medical responsibility of Prof. Dr. Schulte-Uebbing. The consultation, the information about benefits and risks and the decision as to whether a treatment is suitable for you are medical tasks. We will explain at your appointment who carries out which step of the treatment.
Can I just have a consultation first?
Yes. A consultation does not commit you to any treatment. We discuss your wishes, look at your skin or hair, and explain what options there are – and where their limits lie. Afterwards, please feel free to take time to think it over. You can book your appointment by phone on 089 299655 or online via Doctolib.
Which treatment is right for me?
That depends on your concern, your skin type and your stage of life. Fine lines and a dull complexion call for different procedures than deeper wrinkles or a loss of volume. In the case of hair loss, finding the cause comes first. In our consultation we explain the options, their advantages and disadvantages, and what is realistically achievable. Sometimes a combination makes sense, sometimes no treatment at all.
Are aesthetic treatments possible during pregnancy?
During pregnancy and breastfeeding, we generally advise postponing aesthetic treatments such as hyaluronic acid, peels, mesotherapy, PRP or laser hair removal. For many procedures there are no safety data for this period, and skin and hair change greatly anyway because of hormones. If you have questions about skin changes or hair loss at this stage of life, please feel free to talk to us as a gynaecology practice.
Do the results look natural?
Natural results are our aim. We would rather treat gently and add more if needed than change too much at once. How your skin reacts and how long a result lasts varies from person to person. That is why we do not promise particular results, but discuss openly beforehand what you can expect.
Where can I find your practice?
Our practice is at Residenzstraße 9 in Munich's old town, on the fifth floor with a lift, right next to the “Zum Franziskaner” restaurant. The Marienplatz and Odeonsplatz U-Bahn and S-Bahn stations are a few minutes' walk away, and tram line 19 is nearby too. Car parks and underground garages such as the Opern-Garage are close by. You can book an appointment on 089 299655 or via Doctolib.
