Prof. Dr. Schulte-Uebbing has been a member of the German Medical Association for Acupuncture (DÄGfA) for decades. As a lecturer, he has taught numerous courses for colleagues there. He has also earned the DÄGfA Acupuncture Diploma A and the “advanced” Acupuncture Diploma B and holds the Acupuncture Diploma from Tianjin Chinese University. Background information on acupuncture therapies

Acupuncture (including ear acupuncture) has been a major focus of our practice for decades. Acupuncture has proven particularly effective for strengthening the immune system (as a complementary treatment for stress, burnout syndrome, exhaustion, cancer, immune deficiency, weakened defenses and recurrent infections), regulating metabolism (as a complementary treatment for metabolic disorders, hormonal disorders, digestive disorders, obesity, heart problems, allergies, depression, anxiety, etc.), in gynecology (as a complementary treatment for cycle and hormonal disorders, menopausal symptoms, fibroids, endometriosis, PCOS, fertility issues, etc.) and in pain therapy (as a complementary treatment for headaches, migraines, menstrual pain, lumbago, sciatica, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, rheumatism, shoulder-arm, cervical, lumbar and thoracic spine syndromes, hip, knee and elbow pain, adhesions and scar pain, etc.).
