Vital field diagnostics and therapy in Munich – a complementary approach

Meant as a complement. Discussed openly.

Vital field diagnostics and therapy using the Vitatec method belong to complementary medicine. We offer them to patients who would like to add a naturopathic approach to their conventional medical treatment. In doing so, we say openly what the method can and cannot do: it does not replace diagnostics, and its informative value has not been scientifically proven.

When to come to us

When patients ask about vital field diagnostics

Wish for a complement

You are under conventional medical care and would like to get to know a naturopathic method in addition.

Persistent symptoms

You have had symptoms for a longer time and, alongside conventional medical assessment, would like a holistic view.

Body, soul and life circumstances

It matters to you that body, soul and life circumstances are considered together.

Questions about the method

You have heard of Vitatec or the vital field method and would like to know what is behind it and where its limits lie.

Our approach

Our approach to vital field diagnostics

At our practice, we always begin with a conventional medical assessment: a detailed medical history, examination and, where necessary, laboratory tests and ultrasound. We offer vital field diagnostics and therapy only as a complement. The method is based on the idea that the body has a fine electromagnetic field through which cells and organs are connected with one another. The aim is to gain indications of imbalances in this field and to have a balancing effect with tuned frequencies. Whether this is an option for you, we discuss openly – including the limits of the method.

An honest assessment

Vital field diagnostics does not replace conventional medical diagnostics; its informative value and the effectiveness of vital field therapy have not been scientifically proven – we use the method only as a complement and discuss this openly with you.

Careful and personal

What the treatment involves

01

Preliminary conversation

We discuss your symptoms, previous results and expectations. And we clarify whether the conventional medical assessment has been completed.

02

Vital field testing

The Vitatec method works with weak electromagnetic signals. According to its concept, the body's reactions to different frequencies are recorded in the process.

03

Vital field therapy

Based on the testing, the device emits tuned frequency patterns. According to the concept of the method, the aim is to stimulate the body's regulatory processes.

04

Putting the results in context

The test results are not medical diagnoses. We consider them only together with your history and conventional medical findings.

05

Complement, not replacement

Necessary conventional medical treatment is neither replaced nor delayed by vital field therapy.

The background in detail – click to expand.

What is the vital field method?

Vitatec is the name of the manufacturer whose method we use in our practice. The vital field method is often counted among the bioenergetic approaches, similar to bioresonance. It starts from the idea that every person has a fine electromagnetic field – the so-called vital field. According to this concept, disturbances in this field can be measured and influenced with suitable frequencies. Vital field diagnostics is intended to detect such disturbances, and vital field therapy is intended to balance them. These assumptions come from complementary medicine. They are not part of scientifically recognised physiology.

What science says about it

We want to be honest: there is no reliable scientific evidence that vital field diagnostics can detect illnesses. Equally, it has not been shown that vital field therapy can treat illnesses. The underlying model of a measurable vital field has not been demonstrated in natural science either. We therefore never use the method for diagnoses on which a treatment depends. It replaces no examination, no laboratory test and no imaging. Anyone who decides on a complementary treatment after this information is carefully accompanied by us. This openness is part of honest advice for us.

Vital field within our practice's approach

Our practice combines guideline-based conventional medicine with Traditional Western Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine and naturopathy. We see the person as body, soul and mind. Within this framework, we also offer vital field diagnostics and therapy based on Vitatec. The method sees itself as a holistic analysis with individual treatment approaches; its aim is to support health and vitality. At our practice it always sits alongside conventional diagnostics, never in their place. Whether it can make sense for you, we discuss openly and without any pressure.

Limits and safety

The results of vital field testing are not a basis for far-reaching decisions. We do not derive operations or the stopping of medication from them. Strict diets or leaving out entire food groups should likewise not be based on such a test alone. If you have a pacemaker or another electronic implant, please tell us before the treatment. The same applies in pregnancy. For new or worsening symptoms, conventional medical assessment always comes first. If in doubt, we do not carry out the treatment and discuss other options with you.

Good questions. Clear answers.

Frequently asked questions about vital field diagnostics

Can't find your question? Give us a call – we will take the time.

Can vital field diagnostics detect illnesses?

Not in the sense of a medical diagnosis. Its informative value has not been scientifically proven. We identify illnesses through medical history, physical examination, ultrasound and laboratory tests. We see vital field diagnostics as a complementary perspective that we consider only together with these findings.

Is the method scientifically recognised?

No. Vital field diagnostics and therapy belong to the complementary medical methods whose effectiveness and informative value have not been scientifically proven. We tell you this openly before you decide. Anyone who would nevertheless like to use the method as a complement will be accompanied medically at our practice.

Is the treatment uncomfortable?

The method works with weak electromagnetic signals; there are no needles and no medication. We explain calmly beforehand exactly how the treatment works. If you find anything uncomfortable, please tell us – the treatment can be interrupted at any time.

Does health insurance cover the costs?

Statutory health insurance (GKV) does not cover vital field diagnostics and therapy. We bill them as a self-pay service under the German medical fee schedule (GOÄ). Whether private health insurance or the Beihilfe (German civil-service health benefit) covers any costs depends on the plan. We will tell you before treatment what costs will arise.

How often is vital field therapy used?

We do not set a fixed number of treatments across the board. We discuss with you whether and how often a complementary treatment seems sensible. In regular conversations, we review together whether you would like to continue the therapy.

Can I use vital field therapy in pregnancy?

In pregnancy, we rely on well-studied methods. Please tell us beforehand if you are pregnant or a pregnancy is possible. Whether a vital field treatment is an option at all during this time, we discuss case by case; if in doubt, we advise against it.

Do I have to stop taking my medication?

No. Please never stop prescribed medication on your own, not even because of a vital field treatment. Vital field therapy does not replace necessary treatment. If you have questions about your medication, we are happy to discuss them with you or with the doctors treating you.

Can I combine vital field therapy with other treatments?

Yes, as a complement. Our practice combines conventional medicine with naturopathic methods such as acupuncture, infusions or magnetic field therapy. We coordinate all treatments so that they fit your overall plan. Conventional medical treatment always takes priority.
